Orient Express Eatery

The Orient Express Eatery is inspired by the idea of a teahouse that is an informal meeting place where tea is served and a small number of food items are offered. That inspiration is held and furthered at the Orient Express to create a teahouse eatery that serves Modern Asian Cuisine in a beautiful environment. Sharing of dishes so that several flavours and textures can be experienced at once to achieve an overall balance. It has been a revelaton to discovery my passion for Asian cuisine, a passion that has enticed my senses for over three decades now. As an interpreter of Asian cuisine, I enjoy sharing my experience and philosophy behind this fascinating gastronomic journey. For me, preparing food is not just about cooking and eating, it has a much deeper and more intimate meaning; it is about generosity, hospitality, and friendship. Through this realisation, it becomes meaningful and symbolic.
